Jane Letts

A little overdue is this news, but we warmly welcome Jane Letts to our board of trustees. This is Jane’s bio:

I grew up in Northamptonshire from an agricultural background.  I enjoyed helping out on the family farm which ranged from tractor driving to bookkeeping.

Growing up I always felt a bit different to other children, and in my twenties I was diagnosed as being dyslexic and this explained some of my difficulties, but not all of them.

I studied Law at UEA, Norwich and I eventually qualified as a legal executive.  Over the years I worked for local law firms.  I worked mainly in conveyancing and now I am learning about private client work at a local firm of solicitors.

After going through a bit of a crisis in my life, I was finally diagnosed as having Asperger’s syndrome.  I have had much support and help from Elaine and AfA.  I now want to return the kindness I have received and help people affected by Asperger’s in the small way that I can.
